The Story Behind Dopopod
Storytelling has always been our passion. Inspired by movies, comics, books and TV series, we were fascinated by how stories could transport people into different worlds.
During our earlier years, when we tried to create a short film. Our narration skills allowed us to visualize and explain scenes effortlessly. However, when it came to writing them down, we faced a major challenge—structure.
We had countless ideas but struggled to format them properly. We couldn't find any tools that truly fit our needs. We wanted an easy way to transform ideas into structured content.
That frustration stayed with us for years, driving us to create a solution that makes structured storytelling accessible to everyone.
While exploring user-generated content online, we encountered another challenge. We couldn't get recommendations tailored to our tastes, and discovering new, exciting content was a struggle.
The process of writing and publishing also felt overwhelming.
💡 What if there was a space where people could not only create stories but also involve their readers in the narrative? A place where storytelling wasn't just about writing, but about engaging and evolving with an audience.
That's when we combined this idea with our earlier struggle with structuring stories. Dopopod was born.
As the idea took shape, we realized that building a platform to make structured storytelling easy and accessible required collaboration. The goal was to support storytelling across various formats, including books, movie scripts, TV series, short films, and game stories.
But this vision couldn't be achieved alone. A strong partnership was essential to bring it to life. The trio had assembled.
